Dr. Nikolaus Meyer studied physics in both Hamburg and Berlin as well as business management at the University of Hagen, completing internships at the business consultant firm McKinsey and Company in addition to Siemens AG. During his graduate work at the Hahn-Meitner Institute he became interested in innovative production methods for solar modules, which led directly to his laying the groundwork and organizing financing for Sulfurcell in 1999. With the support and dedication of his colleagues, he was able to secure the necessary capital and launch the company in April 2003. Since then he has led Sulfurcell as its CEO
